Tempe & Louisville
Call me crazy, but it seems that there are some unusually high totals in the NFL today. These numbers coupled with some bad weather on the West coast points to some good Under plays today. Here's 6 picks to root for Defense.....

Den-Miami Under 39:
Yes, Miami scored 34 a week ago but that was an abherration vs terrible Bills team. Den banged up on offense at WR, RB, and OL should have some trouble moving the ball in humid Miami

Ind-Bal Under 43:
Many argued that Bal D in 2000 was best of all time. Have they gotten that bad? Today they line up vs. Colt team with injury problems at RB & WR putting the same pressure on Manning he had last week in being picked off 4 times. And as bad as the Colt D is, Bal O is not exactly lighting it up. 43 in a Bal game looks like a gift.

TB-Cin Under 35.5
At 5-5, there can be no let-up for TB following big win on MNF. Cin off shutout vs. Clev LW will fare no better vs. TB D which has turned it on last 3 weeks. TB O healthier with Dunn & Alstott but Keyshawn still without 1 TD. TB should win but expect lots of FGs

Det-Chi Under 39
Lions are 0-10 for a reason..bad pass D. Lucky for them Bears don't go down the field except for M.Booker vs TB. They play ball control offense which will be WITHOUT RB A.Thomas again today. Det got 102 out of RB J.Stewart last week, and will stick with him today.

Ari-Oak Under 44
100% chance of showers with winds gusting up to 30-40mph should slow down the Oak O a little bit. Great Oak pass D, led by C.Woodson, should contain Plummer. Oak O should be able to run effectively vs. Ari D behind Wheatley and Garner.

Buf-SF Under 44
See forecast above. Bay area to be drenched by start of this primetime game. Improved running game by SF behind G.Hearst as well as the Q status of WR T.Owens and bad weather points to SF playingn a conservative ball-control game. 1st road start for Buf QB Van Pelt vs underrated SF D is also a good matchup on the sloppy field.
