I can't believe I can get Chris Dimarco at +130 to win it all. I was done betting the Masters but I was shocked :scared seeing this line. The guy is up 4 strokes and has played great golf for 3 straight days. He has experience to rely on to win this thing. The way I see it, it is Dimarco's to lose. Up 4 strokes it isn't going to be easy for Woods or Bjorn to catch him. I be shocked if anybody else besides those 3 win it. Therefore, I have a 1 in 3 shot of my guy winning it. On top of that 33% probability, my guy is 4 strokes ahead of Tiger and 5 strokes ahead of Bjorn. So why is Dimarco +130 odds to win it all when he is 4 and 5 strokes ahead of his 2 closest competitors? The guy has played GREAT golf for 3 straight days. If this guy was gonna fold it was going to be today. He came out strong and I don't see him letting up even if Woods or Bjorn play great tom.

This is a bet worth losing. Too much value. I know this bet ain't a lock and a 4 stroke lead is not a "HUGE" lead in golf. But if Dimarco is a little off his game and Tiger has a great day, it still prob. goes down to the wire. Dimarco has room for error but everyone else doesn't. Major advantage for Dimarco. But if Dimarco continues his steady play, I don't think anybody can catch him. I will bet that Tiger doesn't have another killer day like he had today. Remember, Tiger struggled round 1 while Dimarco played 3 straight days of great golf. Even if Tiger plays well tom., he still needs to be 5 strokes better than Dimarco! :) I'll take my chances!

Taking all my winnings ($600) on Cink making the cut and putting it on Dimarco to win it all! :spotting:

Odds to win
Odds to Win 2005 US Masters Chris Dimarco +130
Risking 600.00 To Win 780.00

I got +130 at Olympic. +125 is at Pinnacle. Betwwts has him +110. Sportsbook.com has Dimarco at -200. I was expecting -200 so I am betting it BIG on him at +130. Otherwise I would regret it if he did win and I didn't take advantage of it. Win or lose, I am 100% happy with my bet and the amount I wagered on it. I think this is a great bet. But I do realize I am new to golf so lets see how it shakes out.

gl with your play.

i bet tiger at +462 pre tournament for 300. Hedged with Dimarco +130 for 300. IMO you can throw Bjorn away (not literally, but stranger things have happened). Someone will make a run, they always do on sunday.

To be honest though I really like Tiger to win the thing though. 4 strokes is nothing for him. I see Demarco posting a +1 or even round tomorrow meaning tiger only has to go around 4 or 5 under. I am by no means a tiger fan, but what he is capable of is mind boggling. His day is Sunday. All the others choke away. Happened so many times in the past, today should be no different.

Like i said, gl, i still win a little if Dimarco wins, but much more if tiger does. I just don't see tiger losing. Dimarco has had the 54 hole lead before at the masters and didn't win. Watch the red shirt today.

Good call on cink making the cut as well. I had Choi for 300 and he hit as well.

theres also a reason that a guy 4 strokes down is +135 to win the thing after 54 holes and the leader is +140

you can get tiger at 43 at wsex and chris dimarco is only 44 in their markets.

Scott,Can't tell you why I play Chris DiMarco in every tourney.Get my e-mail from MJ and I'll explain. But if he can holdout and win this...I'm in heaven....
I have him at 60-1 and I put at least one "box' on him every week.
He has folded on me before after leading.I don't think I can watch it today.I'll peek and stay away.Everytime I watch it something bad happens.

I'll paste my play here amd pray.I have to go to the 11.00 am mass today.I will say a small prayer for the Pope but concentrate on DiMarco. He's got a great name.
Mea Culpa... Hope you win on him today.

i would suggest that with the way tiger is playing you might want to buy some of your bet back before 11 am when they tee off. unless i am reading the score wrong tiger is 8 under in the third round and 12 under for tourney? he may shoot a 62 today.

CRAP! :scared

Did I put the kiss of death on Dimarco or what. Geesh. I just woke up to see Tiger kicking a$$ again and Dimarco shoots 2 over par. Ouch.

Dimarco only 3 back but this sucks.

Woods is now -375 to win it while Dimarco is +800. DAMMIT! :mj07:

Looks like I just pissed away my big golf winnings.

Thinking about taking a $400 loss like a man.

I could put $780 to win $208 on Woods! But then what if someone else wins besides Woods or Dimarco? Then I get royally f*****. I have an hour to think about it. Dimarco is only 3 strokes behind but Woods has played lights out 3 straight days now. :scared

I'll post if I do. Today was gonna be great day. USC Spring Huddle is today for footballl!!!!! Thanks for putting a damper on it Tiger! :cursin:

BleedDodgerBlue nice call on woods. Box and 1 hopefully BDB loses and we cash on Dimarco! :)

Box & one too bad you couldn't offer your book a buy out yesterday when DiMarco was leading, 60-1 would be nice. There's still hope though.
Scott what odds did you get Cink at to make the cut? What book offers those?

I got Cink making the cut -420 at Pinny. :scared

I decided to just keep my $600 wager on Dimarco. Screw buying back to save $200. If I did that, My total golf returns would look like Woods wins +$200, Dimarco wins +$600, anybody else -$780. Don't think its worth it. Anyways, who says Dimarco isn't gonna win!!!! If Dimarco wins then my golf returns = + $1,380 :em71: If he loses, I break even! (that aint too bad)

Lets win it Box and One!!!!!!!! :toast:

Off to the USC spring huddle! :Yep:

bif,I have Carib and there is nothing there. Also like Scott said, what happens if someone else sneaks in.
ahhhh
frustrating...Scott,you didn't put the kiss of death on it.
But keep the faith. The name DiMarco has a lot of pride in it.The famos "DiMarco Sisters" were only second to the Andrew Sisters during WW 2.
Tony DiMarco was the welterweight champion of the world in 1955 beating Carmine Basseilo.Go to the North end of Boston and there is a street named "Tony DeMarco Way".
But the people of Boston pronounce it
Da-Mack-O.You guys up there can't pronounce your R's.
Scott,Da-mack-0 will prevail today. Also there was a famos coach in 1995 that won NY State High School Coach of the Year.I know him pretty well personally.
Good luck.I just back back from church.I think I got a message there.Trouble is gambling is a venial sin in my religion. But I worked bingo for 8 years........that should count

I'll try to boot DiMarco home for you guys. Looks like you'll both make a nice chunk of change and you seem like good people.
Keep me informed on other golf plays you like throughout the year.

I might have had something to do with tiger going from -150 to -155. i hit tiger going into the playoff hard.

glad to see you still turned a profit on the tourney.

we will be hard pressed to see an athelete in our lifetime who is tougher mentally than tiger.

props to dimarco for hanging tough.

glad you turned a profit for masters

BleedDodgerBlue congrats on win with Tiger. Isn't Pinny great? I knew Pinny would put up a line and I told myself if Tiger is less than -200 I was gonna risk $780 on it. Play it safe. Another reason everyone should have several outs!

Box and One nice call with Dimarco. You and I should have won with him. Why the hell don't you have an account with Pinnacle? You could have made big $$$ betting on Tiger -155 after 18th hole on final round.
