after replacing both drive pulleys and the tensioner and the belt adding antifreeze etc... mechanic never did what i asked run a hose through system because i put toomuch bars stop leak in not the pellets thick stryupy liquid
SO after all that and driving back home twice and back to the yard still over heating.
Doge calibers have 2 thermostats the one on outside smaller easy to remove the other one hard need to pull off the whole tube and replace it thats the one i think is closed and will not open
for sure it has to be because the resvoir tank stays full and when put hand on radiotor cap it's cold also can be an air pocket causing problems but when opening the thermostat that will remove any air pocket if not can burp system open up the valve until looses then add antifreeze and you will hear hisssssssssssss of air escaping
Total cost now this parts plus $250 charged labor $420 more plus the 62$ for thermo stats and $55 to mechnic who works on his own coming after he done work today guy at yeard told me to get him said he's very good mechanic
