hellah10 - I agree with you about Mizzu. Oklahoma will show this weekend why Texas is going to pound them into the ground if they manage to get by on Saturday. Offense will show its holes and defense is no where near '00 team. Mark it down now, Texas will beat OU then LOSE to Kansas St... Good luck this weekend!

OU rolls

OU rolls

Bigdad, you are right about Texas probably getting OU this year, but those of you above who take the Mizzou ML are throwing away your money.

OU has been on national tv 3/4 times and on pay per view the other time. They have SHOWN NOTHING OFFENSIVELY, but they also have been very, very vanilla. They don't want to show the 'Horns much, and that will continue against Mizzou.

However, lets look at the players. OU has three times the players Mizzou has. OU is way deeper than Mizzou and will push Mizzou all over the place. If the total on Mizzou's total points is 10, I'll take the under. OU's defense will shut down Mizzou.

Mizzou does have a very mobile QB, and OU generally struggles against mobile quarterbacks (like against Roberson and K-State last year).

Mizzou beats a no-quarterbacked Illinois team and Troy State.... I know it's popular to take Mizzou right now, but OU is head and shoulders above Mizzou and it will take Mizzou about a half to figure that out. Mizzou could get a backdoor cover if OU's defensive 3rd teamers don't get with the program late.

OU -13' is to try to get money on Mizzou. Buck it and take the Sooners winning by 24.

Avalanche,

Why do you keep implying that Missouri, and now OU in this thread, doesn't want to show Texas their offense? Why would any coach put their team in a situation to lose just so not to give away their in-game strategies? Answer: they wouldn't. OU has just that, a vanilla offense that's not going to surprise anyone.

Re: the Missouri/OU game, does everyone remember the Okie St. game last year when the Cowboys were 4 touchdown dogs AT OU? Well, this Sooners team isn't as good as that one. Everyone keeps knocking Mizzou's loss to Bowling Green but what team has OU beaten that has made any kind of impression? Tulsa, who got killed by Baylor, held OU in check for 2.5 qtrs. I think Mizzou covers and if they don't turn the pill over a lot, might be able to pull the upset.

no reason why i like the Tigers. I just think Pinkel is a good coach with good players and getting 2 TDs at home is good enough for me. I dont think OU is good this year.

the only thing that concerns me about OU is there O line..

the sooners cannot run the ball!

hyble is comming around but he is by no means a super star

im looking for Ds on both teams to dominate
personally, i like the under 50..

i like the +14 also, but ML??

you might be going a bit to far..

:)

good luck

so when were you able to make this startling revelation, TCSN? I really find it hard to believe that you have watched many of their games this year as you usually have about 60 plays on your average Saturday...didnt realize you were such a dedicated follower, figured you would be glued into the Wyoming/Citadel game or crunching numbers for your Yale/Holy Cross blockbuster selection...

Although I must concede this point to you,
I'm sure you know what shit looks like.........
Keep on delivering promises--

mcuh money to be made in the 1-AA. If you follow it - you can clean house. I would rather bet 1-AA then SEC/ACC/PAC10 anyday of the year. Then again I dont know shit about 1-AA
