Going solo?

Have a trip to Vegas booked for next week. Guy I was supposed to go with bailed out to be around for the birth of his first kid. Why he chose that over Vegas is a mystery to me...

I've never been to Vegas but being that I have the whole week off I'm contemplating still going, but myself. Anyone make the trip solo before, and if yes, was it still a good time?

Have done this a few times and always have fun but a week is a long time to be in Vegas with or without friends. Might plan a side trip somewhere...

Ive went to Vegas solo to play poker, had a great time. Play cards all night, sleep in, lay by pool, repeat. A week might be a long time, Ive done it for a long weekend, but never a week.

If you have to go solo it may be the best place to go alone. You don't realy need anyone with you to gamble. I am guessing you are single. Even better!

Very true. Of my 3 trips a year there, one is with the boys , one with the wife , an one is always a solo. The only negative is eating dinner alone.

Thanks for the input fellas. I'm only going from Monday-Thursday, so I should be able to find enough things to do to keep busy. And yeah I'm single, which is one of the reasons I still wanted to go on the trip in the first place. Might be better off too, I can't see my buddy wanting to sit in a sportsbook to watch a game he bet on.
