Va Tech played the Heels pretty much even for 39minutes the last time out...the Hokies just couldn't close the deal..line was 7 1/2 and they lost by 9 I think..but it was real close until the very end...Va Tech has talent, not quite as much as the Heels, but this isn't a mismatch by any means...Va Tech has to win I think to get in the NCAAs...so they'll play like there is no tomorrow, which there isn't...Carolina will play it's typical game...Caroloina doesn't play that great a D and the Hokies can score..so think Carolina will try to outscore them...I see this one to be very much like the last time out meaning close throughout and 11 1/2 points is too many if the game is close at the end, which I think it will be...wouldn't shock me to see an outright Hokie win..but I'll say NC 81, Va Tech 76

NC point guard, (can't recall his name, all ACC), is questionable..that's critical..I liked this play even if he plays..if he's out or less than 100% I'll play the +500 ML to win the game outright..
Also like the over 123.5 in the Mich St and Minn game..Mich State will force the tempo..both teams get into the 60s..and the Ill and Mich over 119..both teams get into the 60s
And Temple +4 1/2..Temple a good team that can match Xavier..not sold on Xavier like years pasts...ML also possible..Temple 77 X-men75

Ty Lawson, I think its a toe injury hobbling him...they are truely a different team without this kid, only thing that scares me is knowing they won by 9 last time, the line should shrink:shrug: not grow...especially with the PG out if he is which I BELEIVE he will be, like the play and let's hope V. Tech has some gas left in the tank...back 2 back games and Carolina on rest, hopefully Tar Heels are rusty and give us a good jump.......BOL

Line has moved away from NC toward Va Tech from 12 1/2 to 11...think it has to do with Lawon's state...Lawson is the key to their team...Va tech will hold thier own on the boards both Offensive and Defensive..and Va tech can score..I also think these highly ranked teams are laying low for the real tourney..do you really think Lawson will be risked in this game with the NCAA's starting in a week? Not me...Carolina might be good enough to win this w/o their point guard, but by 11..if yes, they are really a good/great team...I say not..Va tech have laid eggs in the past..but not now..I didn't play them to win the ACC tourney but it wouldn't shock me if they did...so we shall see. Almost hit the Va Tech ML..they played pretty much exactly as I thought they would...damn over in Mich State came up a bit short..oh well..
Terps + 6 1/2 Terps almost beat WF a week ago coming away with a 2 point loss...once again, this is a must win for the Terps who might sneak into the NCAAs with a W...Terps looked very solid against NC State yesteday...and I believe the last time out that faced WF after NC State they played them toe to toe..think just liike the Va Tech game, this one will be close again..although I'm a homer in this one for sure..I'll take the Terps to win 72-70 in a nail biter...Vazquez or Hayes wins this one late.
Houston +14 against Memphis...Houston can score and Memphis tends to play lower scoring games...could even see Memphis getting knocked off in this one...14 is too many...this will either be a Houston W or a loss of 8 or less..IMO
