Will be in town first part of June. Looking for a golf course. Here are my criteria:

Within 50 miles or so

Scenic as possible......I'm from Kansas, any surroundings beyond the occasional rolling hill and cows is considered scenic. I'm thinking a view of the strip or even out in the high country....just something different from here.

Someone with a 22 handicap won't feel like throwing his clubs in the lake before it's over.

An 18 hole course

With fees and carts......less than $125.00 per person.

Is that possible?

Check out golflv.com

Personally, I have played at Paiute and Badlands and enjoyed both courses, and both fit your requirements.

nighthorse,

I have played Anthem at Revere a couple of times, and it will meet most of your criteria. It is up in the mountains south of the strip with a nice view. The green fees run about $150 if I am not mistaken, but it was very nice, and is only a few years old.

The only thing I did not like, was that there were not a lot of yardage markers on the course.

Good luck with your search, and enjoy your trip.

Mark

I have also played Angel Park, and Painted Desert, and did not care for them as much. I would not play Angel Park again for free.
