WOW I would have guessed a collective profit but not to that extent. Certainly proves what a group, all pulling together, can do.---quite a parallel between golf punters and golf in general--not a closed thread in this forum since inception in 1999.

Certainly appreciate your efforts on keeping tabs Stan. I can not imagine the time you spend keeping forum stats-running player stats on your site-running contests and capping every tour.
Quite frankly it is mind boggeling to me. I sound like a broken record but thanks once again Stan. You make this golf forum possible and our success possible.

To you and the golf crew :toast:

Stan - Did I not get any points for my outrights place on Downes? Or have I misunderstood how you do the calculations?

Great call on Downes lal2000, but only posts before the lines close are counted for the golf forum recaps. The event had started almost an hour beforehand and Downes had already teed off when you made your post.

I must thank Stan as well. About 75% of my plays are coatailing his picks. I've now been wagering on golf for about 15 months and its been by far the most sucessful i've ever been in regards to sports betting. I did have a few big hits that came on my own speculation but that never would have happened without Stan's site. :D

Still cant believe Whalers hit that 250-1 on Micheel. I'll be looking for his selection for the PGA Champ next year.

GL everyone in 2004

TU

PS This is off the subject but for US punters tradesports will be offering markets on the Euro tour to go with the PGA tour. So hopefully we can do some trading.

Thanks for that confirmation Stan.

I wasn't aware of that rule. Makes sense. Will teach me to post immediately as and when I place my bets. The bet had been placed on the Tuesday morning, but it looks like I didn't get around to posting until the Wednesday night.

Very impressive numbers.

It would seem impossible to me to cap golf, but you guys
really seem focused.

Good luck in 2004.
