Stan: If you get a chance to take a look, I believe I was 3-1-1 (+2.20*) in Matchups last week.

Your contributions are amazing. I'm reminded of a line from the movie The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance: "Founder, owner, publisher and editor . . . but I also sweep out the place." Last week's choice of Jim Furyk in the Western Open was just a routine for instance: " . . . (Furyk) had controlled the event (Westchester) for so long and that should shift the focus on to his ability to bounce back from such a circumstance . . . there is no real concern . . . there is plenty to suggest that he will again be in the thick of the action on Sunday evening." It would take a pilgrimage to England or Scotland to fete you properly. Cheers!

DTB: King of Props and BushMaster (and course record holder?, at least according to one signature line I've seen at MJs), jumping on solid plays in less time than it takes me to get my thoughts organized. Well done. And thanks for the insight regarding Wie playing in the LPGA Championship. I was wondering much the same thing. It's good to know that it was McDonald's more so than the LPGA that sold out what principles they had and extended an invitation that even Casey Martin might have had conscience enough not to accept.

Crew: The best at Madjacks, and that is saying a lot.

Whalers Rule: Overdue, special and HUGE props to you for your call on Michael Campbell(200/1) in the U.S. Open. I've always speculated that your play on Shaun Micheel(500/1) in the PGA mainly came about from just starting at the bottom end of the odds to see what looks out of whack - but the play on Campbell was there to be capped from a number of approaches IMO, and you didn't let it get away. Regardless of your secrets, you've sure shown the knack for delivering some gems that make it all the way to the house, and in the major championships to boot. :box2: Of course, a knack for longshots comes with a full quota of Sunday flameouts as well, but much worse than a flameout is a "please don't let it happen" dose of deja vu emptiness from Jean Van de Velde(350/1). My condolences. I still keep a candle burning for golf's tragic hero and verb of a guy . . . P.S. Packers Rule!

lostinamerica: "Half my life is in books? written pages - Live and learn from fools and from sages" . . . The promise of Saturday night gives way to another Sunday . . . God Bless and God Damn . . .

LIA --Are you a writer by profession? If not you should consider :)
on Wie it is not surprising what the players REAL attitude is of Wie off the record.Got to tee it up with Kenny Perry yesterday on yearly outing and I believe it would be safe to say most or getting fed up with turning PGA into a sideshow. He was on receiving end of Annika's marketing ploy at Colonial in record setting event.
By the way he is playing in B.O. (leaving ths morning) I previously thought he was taking 5 weeks off. Will try and post a pic from yesterday after I get film developed.
