Stanley - A suggestion:

Some people always flat bet (bet one unit) on their matchups, while some people vary the units wagered.

Is it possible to include a flatbetting record for all picks, in addition to the way you're doing it now?

I.e., calculate the weekly win for all as if everyone was betting the same amount per pick.
E.g., Player X tips a +100 matchup as a single unit play and it wins.
Player Y tips a +100 matchup as a 4 unit play and it wins.

You record the way you do currently with Player X +1.00 unit, and Player Y +4.00 units.

But you also have a 2nd accounting list as if all picks had been flatbet , and on that Player X and Player Y are both +1.00 unit.

It's difficult to calculate the edge/ev of a bet, and it's possible that some losers would be winners if calculated as a flatbet, and vice versa.

Also wouldn't the standard deviation be increased with the players varying their unit size, as opposed to the flat bettors?
So that it would take longer to get into the "long run" (longer to get a statistically significant number of trials)?

Scooter777, this is what I do ;)

All plays are graded as 1-unit plays ... there's no place for 500,000 unit GOYs here :142smilie

I normally outline the 'rules' for these weekly recaps at the start of the season.
