In Philly and missing the Marshall vs Texas St game tonight in San marcus . Really was looking forward to Marshall -5 over Texas St and love the Thundering Herd tonight to win and cover but Saturdays NY Giant games won over. But more importantly got to be with my 2 grandsons Ben and Sam or as they call them in Philly Benny and Sammy. Picked them up in school yesterday and they had no idea I flew in to Philly .This morning picked up the newspapers at WaWA and the headlines was " Gonna fly now " What do our Eagles have in common with Rocky"..I laughed to myself because if I recall right although its an uplifting movie about Rocky Balboa he switches hands and becomes a lefty although he is a righty. Well don't think that will work vs my Giants Back tomorrow for my NY Giant pre-view
Marshall -5 over Texas St *****
Bobcats problem all year they can't score . They rely on 5'4 pt gd Harrell to do everything and he almost does . But teams have caught up withTx St and know if you stop him or slow him down he doesn't have the supporting cast. Harrell used to hit his 3's but now is forced to shoot them them and his avg from lst yr is way down. Tex St inside has Martin and now Morgan who are avg in the paint.
The Herd tonight have the 2 best gds in the sun conf in Kinsey and Taylor . Tex one strength is defense and Marshall gds will dictate this game They also have the vandy transfer Cuffman who can hit 3's from anywhere. But the Bobcats biggest problem is 7'0 Handlogten and there post defense. Think he will control the paint on both ends. If Bobcats double down on him you have Kinsey and co outside. Think the Herd create mismatches in several key positions and if down by 6-10 points they don;t have the offense to play catch up. Davis did come off the bench the other night to help Harrell in dishing and penetrating but don't think that will be enough. Kinsey is a stud and am somewhat upset I don't get to see him tonight but would rather see NY Giants qb jones run all over the Eagles on saturday. . This is marshalls 1st year in the Sun Conf and Strahan Stadium in San Marcus will have a few hundred people at the game . I am giving up a good chance of getting that free pizza hut or T-shirt tonight
give away .. But last night went to an Italian pizza restaurant and had veal parmigiana with spaghetti. wow I do miss the east coast .. " gonna fly now " and pick up Sammy and Benny. My daughter is upset they don't call them Benjamin and Samuel When they were born here in Philly and live in the middle of a block with 2 Italian pizzeria's on each end of course they will be called Benny and Sammy. And you have a father whose 1st name is Anthony. Have you ever heard anyone other then my parents or aunts and uncles call me Anthony lol
