Gonzaga goes head to head with Michigan State tonight. These two teams have both had great seasons and this is why they are this far in the tourney. However, one must look at both of these two teams and their style of play to really be comfortable with this matchup. Gonzaga likes to shoot the 3 and plays fairly scrappy ball. Michigan State likes to work their way inside to get their points. Also, take into consideration the experience factor - MSU has been here before and is very hungry to excel in the tourney right now (now is the time for this team). Gonzaga comes into this matchup looking for an upset and hungry to perform well, but really unsure about what they are up against. However, we all know that in the end MSU will win and if this game gets out of distance for Gonzaga they will be trying to catch up by a lot more than 9 points.
