I don't believe it! Gonzalez drops Nishioka in the first round, controlling the fight, then flattened by a left hand in the third. No chin! Once he got hit flush he was gone!

Truly unbelievable ! Johnny G never was able to get over the hump in his career.

I guess the oddsmakers got it right setting the line fairly close....even in mexico.

Nishioka didn't seem to have that type of power in any other fight

GREAT wkend in the balance. Even after the 1st rd kd I was leery of celebrating and I mentioned it. I show a decnt profit on the week but I'm really kicking myself for getting greedy. That under had a VERY nice price on it too:mj16: :mj16: :mj16:

Back door cover on Under. Never expected that. Jhonny looked in control of things. Gonzalez has been dropped and hurt but never obliterated with one shot like that. It must have really hit the sweet spot. I saw the fight on line along with the UFC fight between Evans and Machido and both KO's were oddly at the exact same time.

Joey got it right by setting a close line. Gonzalez has shown frailty too many times. As soon as he gets hit flush there's a problem. He is that rarity, a Mexican fighter who can't take a punch. I never made this a formality KO win for Gonzalez but I did think he would break down Nishioka and stop him late. Like Romi, I was worried all the time, because you could see that Nishioka was really loading up on the left hand and some were coming close to Jhonny's suspect chin. ... The under players backed into the win, but a win is still a win, so well done. Normally over/unders even themselves out on average but the unders have been hitting big-time this week.

I am not saying Jhonny isn't chinny, but it was a really good staright left hand on the button. Too bad because Jhonny was doing good before that stupid left hand.
