I don't know what I am missing. Yes Minn. plays better at home, but still this team is just imploding. I know that their is a ceremony for Stringer, but there is alot of hard feeling there abiut the whole situation. The brass doesn't want to pay the rest of the contract to his widow and the team including HC Green think it would only be fair to pay it . The guy died while practicing for them . Here are some of reasons for taking the Giants....
1. Everybody and their brother are taking the Vikes evident by the big line swing. The line started at Giants -1 and now in some places it is at Minn-3. That is a big swing. THe public is all over Minn. I always tend to hear from people in this forum go against the public $. Which is always a good idea.
2. I also read somewhere hear that the Mon Night line usually doesn't come into play. Just take the better team. Well I think we all know who the better team is.
3. The vikes give up 132 ypg and this doesn't bode well for the them with the thunder and lightning attack. Barber is alot more healthy now also.
4. The Vikes are 3-5 su and 2-6 ats. Even if they better at home why isn't there ats record better. They got beat by Carolina... I know Carolina played tough against San Fran, but they always do with Seifert at HC. The giants 5-4 and can't afford to fall behind the Phils anymore.
5.This game just means more to the Giants than it does the Vikes. The giants are still in the hunt for the playoff race while I think the Vikes are pretty much done .
I don't know but everything to me points to the giants. The only thing I can come up with for the Vikes is they do play a bit better at home. I am going to play the Giants for 4 units. Had a good day yesterday and got some cash to play with . Any comments are appreciated.....
