think it is as solid a play as the come.......Baylor +2.5

Mizzou has not proven much at all.....Baylor is tough at home and has everyone pretty much healthy and i think will prove to much for Mizzou......Mizzou is going to have to shoot well just to make this one a game I think.....plus their point guard situation is a joke......

Baylor played OU tough on the road, CU tough on the road, and blew out A&M by 52 in between. Now they return to Waco for a game which the crowd should be a factor and I think they win this one by 10.

Clarence Gilbert

Clarence Gilbert

I agree with you on this one, but to say Missouri hasn't proven much. They have beaten Alabama, Virginia, Xavier, and Iowa. I think they are more then capable of beating Baylor on the road. Although I do see a letdown here today after they finally got theirselves temporarily off of the bubble. Our point guard situation is not a joke. Since Gilbert was moved to point guard are only two losses are at Kansas and Oklahoma. Two games that were written up as losses anyway. Granted Gilbert is not a true point guard the team plays much better with him running the show.

i do not really consider Gilbert a point guard......no matter what they call him......he is not one.......he does not have much of a game off the dribble....his medium range jumper is not there.......

Mizzou is not playing as well as they were earlier in the year......and they are having difficulty scoring.......

Baylor plays decent defense and they should give Mizzou problems scoring......lack of a quality point guard added to a team not playing well just makes me think it will be very difficult for them to win today.......

I apologize, after the Anaheim Ducks ruined my four team hockey parlay last night I was in a bad mood this morning. As far as Clarence Gilbert, he is a true 2 guard but that fact that he has been able to step in and make plays has really kept this team from falling apart. Gilbert has been slashing to the basket, hitting jumpers off the glass, and beating pressure up the floor really well. This is the best Gilbert has ever played and he will get a shot at the NBA now that he proved he has an all around game.

I agree with you this is a strong play, I was actually praying for Baylor +5 but I guess the oddmakers aren't that stupid. and once again I apoplogize for being upset about your point guard comment earlier. But I have been happy the way Gilbert has started too run the team. Oh, and Kareem Rush has gotten his A game back.

no problem......don't really care if people get mad at me......rather hear what you have to say.....thanks for replying......

i agree....like Gilberts game a lot.....think he has potential to even be better than Dooling......but I think his off the dribble game needs much more refining......he is getting better, but still I think it hurts the Tigers not having him roaming around the 3 point line where he would be much better utilized......

that being said, Snyder pretty much has no other choice......everyone else is a Div. II point guard on the team.....

anyways......good luck......

other big 12 games I like are

OU due to the fact that A&M is just playing terribly......this is very close to a lock and should probably be my GOY......lol......A&M and UT played a absolutely terribly played game and Aggs still got beat by double digits......

Kansas.....pressure defense at OSU last weekend exposed Tech......never really been pressed.....Eddie pressed them and Tech turned it over time and again......made a huge comback to win the game.......don't think that Roy was not taking notes......

Kansas big.......

other games i am passing......good lines......

Dr Freeze!

Dr Freeze!

With Kansas having a tough game Monday night @ Texas Roy will pull the starters in the second half when the game gets out of hand. Kansas should and probably will win this game by more then 20 points. Just be careful of the backdoor. I love to bet Kansas when they have 4 days off coming up cause they will leave the starters running full bore till the final minute but with a tough road game in two days Roy will more then likely pull the starters up by 20 with 4-5 minutes left. Just a thought as I have been burned by the backdoor in this situation before with Kansas in the past. I am on Kansas small today.

freakin Aggies.......

think Sampson is running his team into the ground.......i watched OU play today and they are nowhere near the team they were earlier this year........do not run and jump like they used to.....

anyone who has played ball knows that if you play too much or practice too much your muscles get tired.......physiologically this is true too -- fast fibers turn to slow fibers after repetitive use -- Sampson needs to know this because this happens to his team every year.......

keep this in mind for future OU games......might be a better go against if lines are still high for them.....they haven't been covering lately.......and loss of athleticism is why.......steady decline last few weeks.......
