HOOSIERS ON THE MONEY LINE
I LOVE this play at any price. I got it at -135 and will play it big tonight. This is my first post of this year WITH THE IU avatar! It was very lucky for me last year whether I played on or against IU. Indiana looked very strong in their last home game controling a very competitive Wiscy team this year. They played well on the road in a very hostile environment (biggest rival Purdue) and got the win. The Hoosiers early tough scheduling is looking like it might be starting to pay off some. I am not getting my hopes up for anything big this year as they ARE STILL VERY YOUNG!!!! I am very excited that Davis is giving the Freshmen a lot of playing time! The Hoosiers are now 6-1 since starting the 3 Frosh (Ratliff, White, and Vaden). Bracey Wright started the season playing timid but has gotten much more aggressive in attacking the basket and it has really payed off for him and the Hoosiers. DJ White has given them the inside presence to compete and rebound!
Michigan has been playing well lately as they are on a 6 game win streak, not great competition, but still a 6 game win streak (@Penn St, NW, Fairfield, @iowa, NC Ash, Delaware St). BUT they are without Lester Abram who I believe is a BIG loss when facing the better teams in the Big Ten ON THE ROAD!!!
I look at EVERY Mich-Ind game no matter where it is being played. IU owns these guys of late!!! The Hoosiers have won 9 of the last 10 SU vs. Michigan......I SAID 9 OF THE LAST 10 SU vs. Michigan!!!!! They have won 6 STRAIGHT!!!! AND COVERED THE SPREAD IN THE LAST 5!!!! In the last 10 they are 7-2-1 ATS! So, you would probably be ok giving up the 2-3 points, BUT I just CANT IGNORE THE 6 STRAIGHT AND 9 OF LAST 10 SU WINS HERE!!!!
The Hoosiers have gained confidence in their 5 wins in the last 6 SU, losing on the road to Northwestern who can really confuse people with their different offensive sets at home as well as their defense. The Hoosiers are also winners ATS in those 5 SU wins in the last 6! They are 8-4 ATS on the year compared to 5-8 for Michigan....
