Lots of players to look out for so will just be going with the "wrong" prices - first one up is J P Hayes - out of form (always is!) but a local player who has finished top 3 here the last 2 years - he should not be 150/1 at Sporting Odds

Stricker 30/1 Centrebet. Wisconsin native who has a good record in this event. His form figures are promising as well.

Waldorf 28/1 Bet365. Has 3 top 10s in his last 5 starts.

Kendall 66/1 Sportingodds. Another local lad with an excellent record in this event. Was 7th in the Hartford Open and managed a top 25 finish in the Buick Classic.

Pat Bates was playing well before last week - back to a short hitters course where there are 5 par 3's should suit him down to the ground, I believe that he could win while the big guns are away as he won 3 times on the Buy.com tour last year - 100/1 Heathorns

just for our information...Keith Elliott advises backing a 'Manchester lad' in an advert in the Racing Post..well, Pat Bates comes from Manchester, somewhere in the US, so that saves anyone who was thinking of phoning in...80/1 gone at 365, but plenty of 66/1 available...

Two outrights to place @ Oly 1/2 unit each both @ 10/1
K Perry and Sluman

Both players in top 7 scoring average on this course of players entered.

Tway,Kaye,Mediate and Baird have withdrawn

Might add I'm go put a littleunofficial chesse on Lowery @ 50/1 at 365

he's quite like Cook as "when" he's on he can light it up.

Chris Smith at 40/1 - well placed on the GIR and par 3 birdie stats, the keys this week IMO.

And a little on Franklin Langham, starting to show a bit of form again, 150/1 at Chandlers is too big, was 2nd here a couple of yrs back and when in form, his par 3 stats are right up there.

Was gonna pass on 72 holes this week as I had only 2 marginals, but since big O has gone on one of them will post both as plays.

Waldorf +105 over Kendall
Lowery +105 over Gossett
both @ $plays

Usa had nice article on Roberts in this tourney.
"since moving to Deer Creek in 94 hes earned $922,403 in 8 outings. He 8 for 8 on cuts, his 32 rds include 24 in 60's with scoring ave of 67.89"

Between Green Bay and Iowa City
I was too late in getting to my office computer to get down a wager on Lee Westwood(40/1), so I hope I will not be kicking myself over that one. Elsewhere,

OUTRIGHTS for 0.25* e.w.:

Skip Kendall(33/1 @ Bet365)
The fellow Green Bay Packer Backer on the PGA Tour I follow most earnestly and that almost always has me pulling for him. Winless and rarely a serious contender during his career, his recent weeks of fine form and tough grinding have barely managed to notch a single noteworthy finsh. Now he returns to his Milwaukee roots at a venue that suits his game against a field that is less than prohibitive. The available odds are disappointing. Oh, well. I am anxious to see if my perceptions of his game and his current resolve are close to the mark and what can be made of a solid opportunity. Packers Rule!

J. P. Hayes(80/1 @ 5dimes)
Something must be at work to account for his recent performances in this event, and there would have to be to spark him way beyond his current form.

Beth Daniel(45/1 @ 5dimes)
I thought the U.S. Women's Open was the right spot for her to finish among the leaders. I'll put aside my initial thoughts of a letdown for this week and at 45/1 take a shot that more and better things were just a week away.

Bobby Wadkins(33/1 @ 5dimes)
He has enough tools to build a different reputation in this go round, but it would need to get started anytime soon.

Got some 3rd rd plays today @ WSEX all picks are - 1/2 stroke which I deem same as Euro ties lose. Don't know if heads linesmaker is out but these look suseptible despite not doing well of late will have to give em a go.

Lowery +105 over Campbell
Hoch -105 over Peoples
Gossett +115 over Molder
Calc +145 over Howell

again all plays - 1/2 stroke.
