I was too late in getting to my office computer to get down a wager on Lee Westwood(40/1), so I hope I will not be kicking myself over that one. Elsewhere,
OUTRIGHTS for 0.25* e.w.:
Skip Kendall(33/1 @ Bet365)
The fellow Green Bay Packer Backer on the PGA Tour I follow most earnestly and that almost always has me pulling for him. Winless and rarely a serious contender during his career, his recent weeks of fine form and tough grinding have barely managed to notch a single noteworthy finsh. Now he returns to his Milwaukee roots at a venue that suits his game against a field that is less than prohibitive. The available odds are disappointing. Oh, well. I am anxious to see if my perceptions of his game and his current resolve are close to the mark and what can be made of a solid opportunity. Packers Rule!
J. P. Hayes(80/1 @ 5dimes)
Something must be at work to account for his recent performances in this event, and there would have to be to spark him way beyond his current form.
Beth Daniel(45/1 @ 5dimes)
I thought the U.S. Women's Open was the right spot for her to finish among the leaders. I'll put aside my initial thoughts of a letdown for this week and at 45/1 take a shot that more and better things were just a week away.
Bobby Wadkins(33/1 @ 5dimes)
He has enough tools to build a different reputation in this go round, but it would need to get started anytime soon.
