Shanahan was fined by the league 2 years ago for not reporting a questionable injury. Since that time, as a protest, he has put any player with a bruise on the questionable list.

Griese missed one practice on Thursday to rest his surgically repaired shoulder. He participated fully on Friday and is fine.
