i have a strong lean on NCST -9.5. would like to hear some opinions about this game before i pull the trigger. NCST is a strong team at home, while GT is still banged up and can't really cover a spread if their program depended on it. any and all opinios welcome!!!
(what are peoples feelings on the bucks for humor sake - everyone on the other side...AGAIN??)

NCSt needs to start impressing the powers at be at the BCS with some dominating wins in order to improve their chances of a National Championship. I'm not saying they have a shot at a National Championship, but that's got to be their motivation to win big.
On the other hand, GT has got to be the most underachieving team I can think of. Lots of talent, but something's missing. . .play calling, execution, you name it. They just aren't getting it done.
A case of two teams in opposite directions. I think NCSt wins this one handily.

NCSt 31
GT 10

honolulu, Hi, USA
Rivers and McLendon make a mighty powerful combo. NCSt is Fo Real! I believe they want to make a statement and gets it here vs GT, who is a team heading South. JMHO

I am a Georgia Tech fan and am leaving this game alone.
They have played off and on this year.
It is homecoming at NCSU and think they will be ready to play.
Tech's offensive plays have been predictable, every time Bilbo comes in the first play is qb draw, 2nd play qb draw that leaves them with 3rd and 8 and then they are forced to throw. When Suggs is in 2 running plays, then again 3rd and long. Puts the qb's in a bad situation.
Also NCSU might be looking toward the Maryland game and over look Tech, you saw what happened when they overlooked Duke.
Duke's kicker missed a chip shot 66 yard fg.;)
So this basically is not helping anyone as far as who to bet on, but just venting some frustration.

Good luck

State has covered every week except for Duke. I think they were looking ahead to Clemson that game, but Duke is improved. I am a State fan and alum, and I think that State will not take this game for granted. Tough game against Maryland next week, but tough game tomorrow. I think (and hope) State wins and covers. State also has revenge from last year. T.A. Mcclendon should be the difference. He makes Rivers look even better. Hope I didn't jinx my team.

i played ncst for 2 units before the line got up over 10. For me it came down to a couple things. The fact that NCST is home with a homecoming crowd and a feeling of neglect from the nation (as an undefeated push-over), I can only imagine them being as pumped as if they were going to play FSU or Maryland. Every game at this point starts to matter taht mych more when you are undefeated and I think their coach adn all their players are very aware of this.
another factor is that GT is beat up. They have been for weeks and they haven't really shown any signs of improvement. Though they have basically dominated the series the past 7 years, NCST won last year and I think they are going to teach them a lesson tomorrow. GL to anyone who plays the pack!!
