Just got back , wanted to say THANS ALL :)

Well , where do I begin ? Let me start by saying that the following words will be inadequate to the feelings and emotions that I experienced . Once Madjack himself had decided to host a Superbowl party , I knew , just KNEW it was going to be something special . To say that my expectations ( if you can call them that) were VASTLY EXCEEDED , would be GROSSLY inaccurate . From beginning to end I can honestly say it was like a dream for me .

Having never met any "internet" people before in my life, of course there was some trepidation going in. Then it began , walking into the sportsbook ( nervous as a virgin bride on her honeymoon I suppose) I spotted a fellow who looked like Fletcher from last years party . I walked up , said "excuse me sir , ever hear of a place called Madjacks ? " Well , by the immediate grin, I knew I was there !! Flecher shook my hand , asked my name and started introducing me to the others who were already in attendence : Senor Capper , KcWolf , Barfly , Gatorbait , Madjack sr. , Kosar , Nick Douglas , and Raymond . People , let me tell ya , they welcomed me GRACTIOUSLY , and made me feel RIGHT AT HOME ! Here they were , The HEAVYWEIGHTS of the forum and each one took time to say hello and chat . I forget who it was that I asked , "where's the BOSS? " . The answer was "well , here he comes now" , Madjack himself !!! He came over , sat right down , and said he was glad I made it . We chatted a bit , had a drink and talked (Jack I KNOW you were very busy , thanks for making me feel welcome to your party) . People were coming and going , later I had a chance to meet Bahama Mama , NHL , (philly icon , lol) , and Mags . The day was getting late , people had plans , and it was time to go. What a wonderful way to get introduced into the fraternity that is Madjacks !

Sunday came and it was time to head to THE PARTY (i was running late as usual LOL) !!! I stopped off at the sportsbook to place some prop bets on St. Louis to CRUSH the patsies ( nice huh ? LOL) . There standing two rows over was Raymond . I explained to him I had no idea were the party room was . He said ,no problem i'll wait and walk over with ya . Well we FINALLY get to the window , make some bets , and head towards the party. At the entrance , a sign , SUPERBOWL PARTY MADJACKSPORTS.COM . Wow , talk about feeling like a vip . Upon entering what do I see : MADJACKERS EVERYWHERE !!! Round tables set up throughout the room , a buffet almost the entire length of one wall , fully stocked bar , and a big screen tv set right up front . It was minutes till kick-off !!! I said a few hello's and sat down to enjoy ! People , the comaradrie , good natured banter that was going on in that room was indescribedly delicious !!! During commericals I had the chance to meet more madjackers . The game in all truth was secondary to me . Well , the game wound down and it was time to go . I looked around and saw nothing but smiles and handshakes . I believe a GREAT time was had by all !

There are a couple of reasons why I am writing this . First , to tell you , the people who were there : THANK YOU , THANK YOU, and again THANK YOU ! I feel privledged to have spent time your company . I hold you all in high regard . Your generosity in sharing knowledge both in the forum and in person is admirable . Your openness in welcoming new people into your world is special . Secondly , for those who chose not to attend , I URGE you to make the trip next year . For the life of me , I cannot comphrehend ANYONE spending time around these individuals and not having a great time .

Lastly , special consideration MUST go out to Madjack & Fletcher . What the two of you put together was nothing less then SPECTACULAR !!!! Jack , I applaud your efforts in making the party happen . I can only imagine the time you spent on not only organizing and planning the event , but also , the continued effort to make sure everyone was accommadated .

Fletcher , having lived in vegas for some years , it is quite obvious to me you have that town wired ! While I was able to stay with friends out there , others weren't . I watched on the forum as you took a personnal interest in making sure everyone would have a place to stay . Your efforts did not go un-noticed ! I applaud you sir .

The two of you deserve many thanks for your hospitality in making everyone happy , comfortable , and taken care of . Thank You both again .

BahamaMama, I could sit and drink with ya for hours . You are too cool !!! Don't ever change !!
Kosar , it was a pleasure meeting and talking with ya . I'll always remember you were one of few that had NE ON THE MONEYLINE !!!!! WOW hahahahhaa
Barfly , your as funny and thought provoking in real life as you are in your posts . I imagine you brighten up any room you walk into , and that sir , is a gift !
KcWolf , I have no doubts that when you post , theres a lot of thought and research that goes into your picks . Thanks for your time and hope you and the missus can make it over to the restaurant sometime .
4Bubba , it is now very obvious to me just how much passion you have for the forum , it is a wonderful thing you are doing and I'll certainly try to be of more help whenever I can !
Raymond , I like your style . I greatly appreciate the fact that you made me feel like an equal . You seem like a a solid , easy-going individual . Continued sucess to ya .
Madjack Sr. , sir , they say apples don't fall far from the tree . With as much respect as I have for your son , I can see clearly where he gets it from ! I look forward to you starting to post , it was my pleasure meeting you.
Senor Capper , your alright in my book Senor . After meeting ya I can see , why you have soo much fun with the smiley faces . Your fun to be around and I most assuredly , will continue to look forward to your posts!
1837 , A very pleasent surprise . I enjoyed our banter during the game very much . Your a funny , funny , guy . You can count on me to start looking into the motor sports , I won't have much to add , but I'll definitely be cheering for you to win !!
Fletcher , you are indeed a special individual , I get the feeling that if you get to know someone well enough to call them a friend , there isn't much you won't do for them. I think you have a tremendous heart . To say that I was impressed by you is an understatement , I wish you continued sucess and if theres ever anyway I can be of help or assistence to ya , just say the word .
MadJack jr. what can I say , talk about CLASS , its all you . Smart and Intelligent , yet no arrogance , you exude honesty , humbleness , and friendlyness , and openness . I was throughly impressed meeting you and sharing some time with ya. I will state this one more time , your site is hands down the BEST PLACE TO BE ON THE INTERNET !!
Nick Douglas , your a cool dude . Expessing your opinion openly , listening to other points of view without bashing . I certainly think you are on the right road . Now if only I was smart enough to have talked to you BEFORE I went to the window on the All-star game I would have had the right side ! hahahah . Be well !
Mags , i'm delighted you are enjoying the cd , shoot , i'm listening to it as i'm writing this ! :)))) I hope to meet you and your (future bride ?) again hehehehehe .
Gatorbait , you seemed so cool and calm , I thought of you like "cool hand luke" . I only wish that I had more time to talk with ya , i'm sure there is plenty I could learn from you.
Crack Rat , Ironlock, Never Caught Up , Hoops , Nolan , Bohica , MsDee, Juji-Getagame , NHL, (eagles logo lol) , and to all the others that I had a chance to meet : I only regret that there was not enough time to talk with all of you .
In My Humble Opinion , you , all of the above , are a WONDERFUL group of people . Anytime , anyplace , that you will be gathering , I will ALWAYS be honored to attend . Thank You all for a very special time for me . I wish you all the best .

GT,

Last night after the smoke all settled and the last wager had been graded I popped the Kingston Trio CD you made me into the drive and poured myself a Scotch and Soda.

Incredible. You obviosly put a great deal of work into putting these CD's together and for the next hour and a half I sat in my office and traveled back some 30 - 40 years to a time when life was so mellow and simple and uncomplicated.

As the songs I had treasured so much as a young person played in a digial purity I had never dreamed possible I took my pen and made notes of some of the words that reached out a grabbed me. Today as as return to business I have my list in front of me and as I make my plays I am reminded that . . .

It takes a worried man to sing a worried song.
Where have all the flowers gone?
The answer my friend is blowing in the wind.
I can hear the whislte blow a hundred miles.
We had joy . . . we had fun . . . we had seasons in the sun.
This time tomorrow . . . reckon where I'll be?
He may ride forever neath the streets of Boston. He's the man who never returned.
Michael rowed the boat ashore. Allehluyeah.

and most of all . . .

This land was made for you and me.

Thank you, my friend, for helping this old gambler take a little time to reflect on the real values of life.
