very unusual week...no concrete sides except for big favs.

after looking over the card I have to think Oak will receive many votes even giving that many points.

it is under serious consideration, seriously.

when i finally list my priorities, that may be one the 4th or 5th toss-ups. this is not an automatic "scratch" for me.

there is a long running precedent of dallas beating or being very close to philly while in philly, and while all is not the same, i cannot expect that philly will suddenly buck that trend.

you must have been around long enough to know that some things are just the way they are: giants beat philly, no matter where either one stands, and so it goes for dallas at philly playing close games in philly.

the only exception was the opener last year in dallas, where they had a flukie philly blowout. this was pretty much emulated by philly against seattle this year, as many of us expected.

so, in conclusion, it may not be necessary for me to "lose" here to pick dallas on sunday. also, to make it a fair bet, let's just say that whomever draws the most votes (philly or dallas) is the winner of this personal contest between us, thus earning the bragging rights for 7 days. fair enough?

i'm not knocking your pick.....i was just kidding with what i said.

this is the only atitutude that i can only approach when discussing betting the cowboys. At least right now.

13.5 is quite a bit for a divisional foe and i'm sure if you look hard enough you can always find some trend or stat that will add creedence in your selecting them.

philly isn't exactly a scoring machine and if R. White and Too Tall Jones comes to play

defense there's always a chance, + a back door cover might also happen for you with a spread this high...I can see a 20-0 score and dallas scoring a nothing td in the fourth to make it a 20-7 final.....but wait they want to work on their two point converison and go for it and miss....oh no....final Philly-20 Dallas-6

I can also see a 31-10 score as well...

regardless I really think dallas will find scoring very difficult though, and may not find the end zone here.

Indy would not have been 3rd if the line was correct. The contestants saw some value at that line and proceeded to play it more.

little surprise mia wasn't there, but there poor road record coupled w/stl first game at home + explosive offense was more then enough not to make it happen.
