After a couple break ins and robberies in the neighborhood I'm officially a gun owner. And having ben educated on the proper way to handle and visited the range they have really lost their negative perception.

So I have the gun bug and wanted to know what you guys have or suggest I pick up.

Have a Sig 9mm and Ruger 10/22.

Hope all is well.

Sigs are nice! I have the Sub compact Glock 40 with extended clip. Many nice guns out there, most important thing is finding one that "fits" your hand. Hope all is well brother:toast:

Over the last year I completed an AR build purchasing a 80% complete lower and building it out with a pieced up. has iron sights and shoots 5.56. build certainly wasn't difficult as it's military spec but shooting past a 100 yards with iron sights is difficult.

If you have thought about but not pulled the trigger (pun intended) by the lower for $80 and sit out it. You don't have to go through background checks for any other piece.

I like it! Aren't those made in Smyrna, GA? I remember seeing the shop when I lived there 10 years ago.

For home defense - a handgun is the worst weapon to own.
You need a sawed off shotgun with pistol grip. Go ask your local gun store guy. He'll probably confirm my statement.

Ive seen those and certainly would get the job done. Luckily there haven't been issues since I posted this but I did add security cams which deter any further knock and smash scenarios.

I found this interesting from study conducted by Emory. For every instance that a gun is shot at home in self defense, there are 4 accidental shootings, not to mention 7 criminal assaults by gun and 11 suicide attempts.

Damit man. If you can't kill yourself with a gun you are one bad shot. I guess you do need a shotgun.
Like Biden says "Two blasts in the air" for home defense.
