IMO the nba wants this over ASAP .
With the clippers out the the playoffs the chitter chatter goes away.
If the clippers win the media reports continue and the focus of the playoffs changes in a negative way...Too much bad publicity
I wouldn't be shocked if the refs step in and give the dubs all the calls to end this series.

Series price of +255 for the dubs is still out there.

Sterling will fight this, don't know why you think all the "charges" are permanent. There's a lot more that has to happen for the "consequences" to be met fully. Sterling is a lawyer, he will most definitely fight this.. Freedom of speech! I'm not saying I think his comments were "ok or acceptable" by any means but it's not illegal to be a racist.
