Of all the talk from the left about how the Bush Administration is using the Iraq war as a way to make a buck for Cheney's "old company" Halliburton, I'm sure not seeing it... The fact is that most work is being subcontracted out to Iraqi companies

They thrive on ideas and bashing where they can change their mind to what ever fits the scenario.

Classic Example. They were all for free trade bill that passed in last administration and climbing all over this administration of late about Bush pissing our old allys off.

So when Bush puts tarriffs on steel to get that industry on their feet and then takes it away when rest of world has a fit they jump down his throat for hurting the steel workers.
WOW All of a sudden they don't care if we anger our allys and free trade is not so hot.

What I cant understand is. Why the American companies seem to always be pissed off at the American workers. Always threatning to move out. Or go over seas. And our government latley just says or does nothing. It seems stange they will subsidize the Corn, Forestry, Milk, Soybeans and of course Oil. This at Billiions of dollars. But they wont come up with a plan to subsidize some jobs for american workers.
And dont worry about Halburton not getting there cut. There still the main contracter on many jobs and are sub letting to others. That means they still get there cut.

We do subsidize some jobs for american workers. It's called welfare and even on a bigger scale it's called Govt bureaucracy.

All those govt jobs in all the dept like social security etc etc are nothing more than welfare. All the thousands that are employed by the Federal govt that do absolutely nothing and yet get great benefits and pensions and all paid for by the american taxpayer.

Yes liberals keep those social programs coming and then hiring thousands more to run them and spend spend spend.


And yes djv Bush has spent far more than he should, BUT THIS WAS ALL STARTED BY THE SOCIALIST VIEWS AND POLITICS OF THE LEFT WING WACKOS THAT HAD CONGRESS AND ALL THE POWER FOR OVER 50 YEARS. THAT'S WHY WERE IN THE MESS WERE IN NOW, because of people like you and eddie and all the other left wing elitist sheep in this country that just keep voting for these tax and spend socialists.

ctownguy you been smoking weed way to long. Either that or someone leads you around by the nose. Bush didn't have to do any of those big spending item if he didn't want to. I cant help it the right is looking more like the left and the other way around.
You forsure only read the chapters in books that say what you wish. You need to branch out a little. Theres a great world out there waitng for you. As for the tax and spend and build dept guys. I agree lets kick a ton of them out of office this time. But you do know most are republicans. Just the way it is right now. They said one thing when they ran for office. Then do another when they get elected.
