I realize that most of us who would like to think we're handicappers, usually subscribe to one of 3 basic handicapping methods or systems.

1. Statistical (percentages)
2. Fundamental (man-to-man matchups)
3. ATS (improving or declining ATS performances)

I understand there are other trends and angles that are important, but for discussions sake, I think the Big 3 would be considered "Systems".

Throughout the year, I noticed that whenvever someone would give an analysis of a game, be it anyone of the Big 3, their analysis never seemed to contradict one of the other two.

Please note that I am referring to college sports and sides only.

For example, I consider myself to be a half assed ATS handicapper. If I looked at a 50 game college card, there may be 2 or 3 games that fit my particular system.

If someone else was using a Fundamental method, it always seemed as if their game was always different than any of the ones I was looking at.

And a Statistical Handicapper always seemed to have games that were different than any of the other 2 methods.

Has anyone else ever noticed this or am I crazier than I think I am?
