Hammer didn't have too many comments for the crazy week ahead.
This will more than likely be the last of the regular Goldberg threads by me. Hank is leaving local radio after a 30+year stint. He will be doing more work for ESPN.
I will miss listening to him as his insight is very good and his list of in-house connections is endless. He is entertaining & very brash, not what he displays on TV.
Even though it is a lot of work sometimes, I will also miss writing this thread each week. & I'll miss chatting with the regulars who stop by, even the ball breakers. In writing it, I consider it my way of contributing to this fine site. It is not uncommon to get over 1000 hits per week, so we were keeping a few folks interested, anyway, one way or another.
THIS WEEK:
NYG + 14 Maybe to get some pressure & keep things close.
PHIL - 7.5 McNabb 3000 yds & 60% completion rate. Buff 15 players on IR
TAMPA + 2.5 Why is Car favored?
GBAY - 4 Det D has collapsed
CHIC + 2.5 Orton playing decent
SEA + 2.5
TENN - 6.5 Dungy 1-10 in the last two games of seasons. (How a X2 turns into an odd # is a question to me ?)
SDIEGO - 8 Winners of 5 straight, playing for 3rd seed and has beaten Oak 8 straight.
ST LOUIS + 6 High scoring game, dog has 6 straight covers in the series.
SUNDAY ESPN:
Not too many cluse, but I'll go with PHIL, TENN, SDIEGO, maybe GBAY.
