thank you, everyone! had a heck of a day. played a little birthday blackjack... saw a guy double down on 16 (yes, seriously, 16) for about $150 (no, he did not win)... had a sazerac for the first time (pretty tasty)... gorged myself on fried chicken (morris, i went to hattie's for the first time. my god.)...
so, yeah, good day.
oh, and morris? no, i am most certainly NOT ready for the cold. although i am looking forward to putting the flannel sheets back on the bed, maybe this weekend.
