Happy Father's Day and Grandpa day to all of your here at MJ's .. it was my birthday a few days ago and my wife and kids bought me tickets to see the play " Hamilton ".. two nights ago...It was awesome...so as a wise guy I asked "what do i get for Fathers Day".. they said tickets to "Hamilton"...I said " wait a minute" that's not fair " you guys killed 2 birds with one stone"...my youngest daughter asked " dad I have heard that expression before,what does it mean"? I said it means " when you buy tickets to Hamilton for someones birthday and they use the same tickets for a few nights later you threw one stone and hit both birds"..."she responded "oh I think I get it"...
but they are taking me out this afternoon to the best Chinese place in Austin Wu Chows..
My nephew last week sent me a tape of my parents in the living room of there house talking about life 12 years ago...think i mentioned it here...it was so powerful ..we only watched the 1st 3/4 of it ...it was a great fathers gift to see your father talk about when my parents met ,world war 11,post war, the 50's 60's 70's and 80's.. went thru a box of clean-ix just crying..
So Happy fathers day to all of you here and to all the grandpas's out there....I have 3 grandkids and one on the way ...La dolce vita the sweet life ...
