Hazel Avalon :00hour
She was born at 8:30am on 12/21. 7lbs 10oz 20.5" long. She got a 10-10 on her APGAR test, the nurses said that is unheard of at this altitude. To quote the nurse "that's about the most spunk and attitude I have ever seen in a newborn and I been doing this for 20 yrs". :00hour Takes after her mom.
Speaking of nurses, they are great people. I tend to forget there are people taking care of other people every day. We have been blessed both times to have amazing care and really great people surround us for the birth of our kids.
HH and the baby are both doing great. HH was able to come home on Wednesday afternoon, a full day early. It was great to spend X-mas as a family. We opened gifts, and watched games. Then I watched Hoosiers with both my daughters on my lap!!!
A great dinner, followed by some football now, then apple pie and either Nuggets game or the Curb Your Enthusiasm DVD-s my wife got me! Tough decision!
