Seriously folks,
Take a look at the news and see all the rioting/marching/stomping/hating people are showing towards the Americans of Arabian descent.
A terrorist's goal is to wreak fear and havoc and just plain madness to disrupt a country.
Think they accomplished this?
TWICE they have already!
1. Hitting the buildings with the planes and killing people, destroying a city, and instilling fear and terror into millions and millions of people.
and
2. Mosques and religious homes being vandalized in cities like... Chicago? Texas? By Americans, against Americans!
Will someone please explain to me the connection between rebuilding America and trashing the homes, instilling fear into innocent children, and vandalizing religous temples in areas far away from where it actually happened?
This act of terrorism has in turn resulted in even MORE terrorism by OUR OWN PEOPLE.
Yes, so they are of Arabic descent. Does that mean they came over on last week's plane ride to infect our country with this mayhem? My guess is, probably.. no certainly not. I would even go so far as to think that a few of these Arabic victims are a few generations from the Middle East. And THESE PEOPLE are the ones we are punishing? What have they done wrong? Seems to me the term "genocide" rings a bell here but on a bit smaller of a scale.
Seems to me the terrorists here have scored a posthumous victory and are now 2-0. They have set in motion more events like the ones they have tried to plan in the past without having to put the effort into these secondary events.
Watching the TV tonite, I saw people chanting things in the streets, waving the flag, and throwing rocks, stones, sticks at innocent people.
Apparently this is the 21st century's definition of patriotism to a large majority of people.
It's appalling.
Now many people have very clouded judgement I am sure after reading this. Here is a simple analogy of what is going on:
Johnny was walking down the street and got attacked and killed by a rabid pit bull lurking the streets.
Johnny's friends were highly upset that this happened and greived very deeply for Johnny.
Then Johnny's friends exacted revenge and harrassed and killed every dog in the neighborhood.
Anyone else seeing that this does not make sense?
I certainly hope so.
The focus of the rebuilding and aftermath of tuesday's events should be on REBUILDING what we had, going outside the borders of the US and finding the people who did in fact do this deed. Not making civil unrest within our own borders.
Tuesday morning I was woken up at around 4am in my home with a phone call recalling me to my ship. Since then I have not left the ship, gotten a total of about 5 hours of sleep, talked to my wife for about 20 minutes to let her know what was going on, and to tell her I probably will not be home for a good bit of time.
And you know what? I am glad I am here, vice in the public community having to deal with the crap going on. It's f*cking disgusting and disheartening watching people trying to self - destruct a nation, all in the name of "revenge, patriotism, mom, and apple pie"
Fly the flag, wear a black armband, hell yes show your support. But resort to violence and street justice? WTF?
