Didn't get to Boulder till about 4:30 because we were dalayed in Chicago. Fog and rain when we got there. Went to Smoking Dave's BBQ in Lyons for dinner. (very good bbq). Friday nite we went to License1 in the dungeons of the Boulderado.

Saturday was gloomy and cold too. Went to Mountain Sun for lunch about noon. Great place. Burger and fries were very good. Place was packed the whole time. Walked on Pearl street for a while enjoyed it.

Wedding was at Lionscrest in Lyons Sat nite. Nice place. Still haven't seen the Rockies because of the rain and clouds!

Finally got to see the mountains in the rear view mirror on the way back to the airport Sunday morning! Thanks for the info and tips guys!

The hot new area in Denver is called RiNo-north of ball park in old warehouse district--there try-Bar Fausto-Biju's Little Curry Shop-Cart Driver-Comida-Denver Central Market-Dio Mio-Finn's Manor-Globe Hall-Hop Alley-The Populist-Rebel Restaurant

Highland-Avanti-Blue Pan Pizza-Cafe Brazil-Duo Restaurant-Salt & Grinder-Solitaire-Spunito-Sushi Ronin-The Way Back

Cherry Creek--don't go in this area too much--Barolo Grill-of course Elway's--friday nite on the patio-if you can get a seat is a great place in the summer--Departure Restaurant-Kobe An

Downtown--Cho Lon- Colt & Gray-Coohills-Elway's downtown not as good as the original in Creek-Ellingtons-Euclid Bar-The Kitchen-La Loma-Jax Fish House--new hot spot is Union Station--has several restaurants and bars in it-hopping place I'll take the light rail down there--Mercantile Dining & Provision-Ostero Marco-Rioja-Russell's Smokehouse--TAG-Zango

There are others but these are all good.

Bennett?s BBQ at 7685 E Arapahoe Rd on the north side of Arapahoe, east of Safeway at Arapahoe & Quebec, between Grease Monkey and First Bank. In my opinion some of the best ribs in US. all u kin eat thursdays Wd always do an overnight on drive to Las Vegas thru Rockies and drive in from Aspen or Vail if downhilling. But been 7 years .

Not on my list as he asked for the area of Cherry Creek-Downtown and Highland area. Added Ri No as it is very popular right now and near downtown ball park area

no problem just added my 2 cents I am a foodie so i will drive a 100 miles for something i really like
