Gamboa looked sensational. Regardless of what Lopez does tonight, Gamboa will be the clear favorite...absolute massacre tonight.

Mtagwa didn't land a single shot. Gamboa is THE Real Deal. Gamboa makes for another good week...would have been a scary loss as I took him @-800. Honestly can't say I was nervous about it. I have nada on the main event but I think Lopez takes it and SHOULD handle Lueveno.

rd 1...here we go...both jabbing...feeling out...nice left luev..better one by lop...nice left lop..rt hk by lop...rd goes to lopez...
rd2-luev is very short with the jab...nice counter left by lop...nice shots by luev...close rd...i give it to lop but ill say right now that if luev gets this into the latter stages, he has a chance...lop ends the rd with a nice shot...Maybe it's me but Lop doesnt appear to be the same fighter he was pre mtagwa
rd3-lop lands really nice shots here...luev stays in the wheel house too long...should be giving lop more movement...lop having a good rd...lop loading up a bit...luev has a bad bloody nose...he NEEDS to get this in the later stages...3-0 Lop
rd4-nice left lop...good uppct lop...nice rt hk luev...lop has a strong finish and clearly takes the rd...4-0 lop but just MAYBE some shades of Viloria/Tamara...
rd5-lop has a cut lower lip...lop drilling luev...luev lands occasional shot to keep him honest...rd to lop but luev is still in this as of now...
IMO Gamboa makes easy work of Lop if that one is on tap after this.

Maybe I'm being harsh but I thought Lopez looked a tad vulnerable in this one. Luev just wasn't in his class and like GW said, he didn't believe in himself.
