HBO's "Hard Knocks"

I love this show! Does everybody else think the same or is it because I'm a Raven's fan, that I like it so much?

I'm pretty sure I'd enjoy it 'almost' as much if they were covering another team and hope they do this every year with the superbowl champ.

Rooting hard for Kenny Jackson and the other rookies to make the team. Only thing I don't like is that its only a 5 week show

I have enjoyed it too, but I have really come to dislike Siragosa as a result of this show. He comes across as a complete a-hole. Always running his mouth and playing up everything for the camera. Combine that with some of the interviews I have heard with him on the radio, and he just seems like your typical athlete di*k. I can get past that because I really do find the show fascinating in it's look behind the scenes. Certainly the only "reality" TV I a willing to watch.

do you think this coverage has affected the teams play. they really have been making alot of stupid mistakes/penalties in this preseason or do you think it's just a case of them being a game behind everybody because of the philly debacle.

I also like the show and am definitely not a Ravens fan ( hate Modell ). I am not a Brown's fan either, my disgust for fART goes back to his driving Paul Brown out of town. I am a much bigger admirer or Billick now, though, the CLOWNS phucked up when they got beat to the punch for him!

I didn't think I would like it, but it is cool. The GOOSE is funny, IMO. I liked when they showed them playing cards and his "roll" was a big wad of 50's and hundreds. As much as he phucks with Rook's, he did try to get the one to stay to help the team. I also LMFAO when he assigned a Rook to write in anything for his weigh-in. He seems like a throw back to the old style NFL lineman.

I think most NFL fans would like the show! I'd guess the players that are "afraid" to make mistakes in front of the camera are left out. Those willing to be themselves, and let loose, are less likely to be left on the editor's floor.

It's a GREAT show, Jack, and I'm not a Raven fan, cept when I'm betting on them.

Billick is worth it alone, with his expressions and outbursts. Goose is entertaining as well as is Sharpe. Interesting to see the rookies adjust to NFL and life out of college. HBO should do this every preseason.
