Headed to NYC this coming week on Wednesday-Saturday with my daughter for our annual trip of relaxation, letting her peruse the high end fashion shopping areas, some shows, and New York winter restaurant week. She enjoys free time away from her daughter (and my Granddaughter) while my awesome son-in-law holds down the fort at home. Angela will be with her Mom as well. Going to see Book of Mormon, and going to the Met Opera. We will be at JW Marriott Essex House if anyone is around.
I love the bonding time with her as she grows into an amazing adult, Mother, and wife and we have never been closer. Same daughter that thought I was such a strict, jerk parent when she was 15-17 years old and would never talk to me, let alone acknowledge my presence. LOL, those that have been through this understand what I mean. Now at 26 she just laughs at what she did knowing my intentions were actually good at the time. :lol:
She has the restaurants lined up for lunch and dinner and Lupa is one of our stops ironically for lunch I think. All the restaurants during Restaurant Week have lunches and dinner that are between 20-35 dollars per person and the prix fixe menus are awesome at 1/2 to 1/3 the price. I am going to download the app to my iphone to take pics and will call someone for instructions. :mj07:
