I buy a lot of cigars over the internet and have been warned that Master Card has turned over all tobacco transactions for state taxation purposes going back as far as 5 years.
States are sending out letters now and taxing consumers as much as 45%.
If you purchase cigars or any tobacco products over state lines, I would suggest not using Master Card to do so...
