First of all, nice job! It's not too often you're in a position like that. Personally I would lay off atleast $1200. At worst you win a dime. Good luck with whatever you choose.

have you won everything else?dont have time to check them,if you did i would put 1200 on nm and the worse you could do is up 800 for the day and that is a very nice day i dont care what type of job you have thats 100 an hour for an 8 hour day. take the money and if you lose the 1200 you would make 2700 and that is more then alot of people make in a month.

What a great situation to be in! Personally, I love Gonzaga tonight. . . I think the New Mexico home court advantage is overrated THIS year because the Lobo team is not that great. However, the smart thing would be to hedge no matter what. I think Reroy and fletcher are right in that you should put down $1200 so that you are guaranteed to walk away with $1000 (I think fletcher is off with his math but correct me if I'm wrong).

Personally, I think its worth putting down ONLY $1200 and leave the possibility that you walk away with $2700 with Gonzaga winning.

no it would be 800 because you have to - the first 200 that he would lose if the hedge won so 1000-200=800 profit for day.
