That is not a tough call at all. Hell yes you hedge. Play KU on the ML to win 400(at least, maybe more). Nice spot to be in. GL with it.

Thanks. The problem is I like marquetter in the game. I was really hoping the line would be 2 or 2 1/2 and that is what I feel it should be. I hate making a bet that I don't think in and of itself is a good one but I think will play Ku for 2000 to get roughly 1000.

some books will let you wager that marquette will NOT win the title. Pinnacle is one (although a 3k limit). They have the line at -510. You could wager 8k to win about 1600 that Marquette will NOT win. Marquette wins you net 8.2k, they don't, you get 1.4k. Not a bad situation to be in, I'd say.

Great position to be in: I would definately play Kansas on the money line. If I had the funds, I would put 8000 on KU (-200). If Ku wins you net 3800. If Marq wins you still have 8200 left to win.Then hope Syracuse beats Texas. I would guess Marq. would be favored by +2. Take Syracuse plus for another 8000,and hope Marq wins by one, and you hit both sides. I wish you all the luck in the world. I would not have the funds to do this, but I would back up all I could. You have guranteed money. Take some to the bank.:toast:

Hope your tourney has gone well(I don't see how it couldn't have with that futures bet!). I got hit pretty hard the first two rounds, but have made it up in the last two. I also like Marquette to stay within the 4.5, as well as Texas to win by 5-6. Think we may be looking at an all Big XII final on Monday, so make sure you get your $$ worth out of that nice play on those Golden Eagles! GL the rest of the way.

This is a must hedge.

You have 16200 to work with.

Put 4 dimes on KU at -200. If KU wins, it is an 1800 payday counting the marquette future loss.

If Marquette wins, final line will be a near pick. Put half of the remaining 12200 profit margin on the other team. Take your 6 dimes and get out.

This is a wide open final four. You have a great play here, but it could all amount to nothing if you could not hedge.

You may want to consider placing even more on KU money line. For what it's worth, I like Marquette from a value standpoint, but KU has a great shot here.
