There are many towns in Texas with populations of 60k. The equivalent of an entire town is gone.

We had a guy show up for golf yesterday saying he "had Covid a week ago". Second time he's had it.

We told him to go home, and rest up.

Please don?t jump on me for the following because I learned from many years of sports gambling that everyone has an opinion, and opinions are like assholes?Everyone has one and they generally stink!

I am not an anti-vaxxer. My wife and I are fully vaccinated and so are our parents. However, I am opting to not have my kids vaccinated at the moment because they are healthy, active kids. It is my opinion that they should recover fine should they come home with Covid. Why not just get them vaccinated and have peace of mind that they won?t end up in the hospital? It is my belief that natural immunity is better than the current vaccine, and there are side effects from the vaccine that are unreported.

What is your family doctor?s opinion?

What is your family doctor?s opinion?

In all honesty, I don?t know because I haven?t taken my 14-year old daughter for her annual visit.

I don?t want this to get political. My former student, who is a medical doctor that works in a private office, suggested that I hold out on the vaccine for my daughter. She has diagnosed numerous kids with side effects from the vaccine. She said that the media in Tulsa, Oklahoma never reports these side effects. Who?s to believe, right?

I live in Tarrant County. We have roughly 2 million people, and about half a million are under the age of 18. What the numbers don?t show is the type of kids that are checking in the hospital. Most are obese and/or have underlying conditions. Am I gambling with my own child?s health? I am confident with my numbers. In the meantime, I make sure my two daughters eat healthy and stay active?and of course wear their masks while in school.

Cook Children's Stats:
1,129 children with COVID-19 have been hospitalized during the pandemic
241 admitted to the Intensive Care Unit
Seven kids have died due to COVID-19.
