Hey man,

Hope Bailey pulls through and everything works out. I'm sure it's tough.

Hang tight.

thanks Woody, he has to stay at his normal vet for 3-4 days for observation, he would have died last night without a blood transfusion, I was scared out of my mind, they diagnosed him with anemia, guys just to let you know, don't take life for granted, my dog was fine Saturday night running around and happy and by Monday night he was in effect dead before a blood transfusion, don't get me wrong its some expensive treatment, but he is alive and getting better now, hopefully he comes home Saturday, I am going to see him tomorrow at lunch

went to see him at lunch today, he is still not feeling great although when he saw me, he got excited and wagged his tail. I petted him for a few minutes and took him outside to pee, thats his favorite thing to do and smell around. Seems like he is doing a little better and is eating the soft food, not the dry, very stable, slowly but surely hopefully he gets better. I sure missed him last night sitting with me on the couch watching tv, hopefully he is home soon and feeling better. time will tell, thanks again for the well wishes.

he is home and much better, we have to go back to the vet in the morning for a blood draw and weekly until his red blood cell count comes back up to normal. He even played a little ball last night in the backyard, like nothing ever happened. I never knew how much I loved my dog until my wife and I thought he was going to die Monday night. thanks again for the well wishes, its appreciated. :toast:

Just saw this, Hedge. Glad things are working out. I'll take a dog over a human any day of the week... hope things continue to improve.

guy`s dog almost died...can`t you cut him a little slack...just one time?...

Listen, as you are well aware, we are trying to foster a less contentious and more collegial atmosphere around here. I post something from the heart and you still jump on me.

This just a couple days after you absurdly chastise me for 'disrepecting Jack.'

I think I speak for the entire madjacks community when I say that we wish the pooch well.

Sheesh.
