Toulouse 13-12 Munster
I had no play on that game yesterday. I already had the ante-post bet running on Toulouse, and to be honest, I quietly fancied Munster to sneak a upset. I am waiting to watch the game, but it must have been a tight affair, and perhaps Toulouse are luck to go through.
Leinster vs Perpignan
The Irish province once again play in front of their home crowd, as they bid to derail the French team, who got to the semis after a win over 14 man Llanelli.
I am going to go as far to say that Perpignan are luck to reach this stage. The win over Llanelli was a good one, but you must take the fact that Llanelli played 75 minutes of the game with 14 players, and still came close to winning. I get the feeling this French side will just be content with how far they come already, while Leinster will really feel they have a good chance of winning the Heineken Cup, with the final also being played in Ireland.
Perpignan will battle all the way, but they dont possess any world class players, apart from Manny Edmonds at fly half, while Leinster have class throughout the team. This fact along with the home advantage factor means Leinster should cover the handicap with a double digit figure.
1 Point Leinster (-9.5) at 1.83 with Betfair
