The land of the Longhorns
I am in a one pick a week pool and the prize is 10K. There are 3 people left and I see no guarantee wins for anyone this week. These are straight up picks.........If your team loses you are out. I would appreciate any feedback on who you think will win the game outright!

Thanks for your help!

Which teams have you already used?

At these stakes and you being so close to winning, I don't know if I even want to suggest anyone. I'd just say trust your instincts and do whatever you've been doing to get this far.

Good luck on this!

As a way of hedging, you might start thinking about picking teams in your survival pool and playing their opponent for 1K or so on the moneyline.

That is, say you pick GB this weekend. You might want to put 1K down on wash at +250 (or whatever they're getting). That way, even if you get eliminated from survivor, you still pocket some cash.

You can get into trouble this way if you and an opponent keep winning each week (you're spending 1K each week, and you're not getting closer to the 10K). But, with only 3 people left, this is unlikely to happen.

You might want to just start betting whatever the entry fee was (100, 200, whatever) if you don't have 1K to throw around.

Wow, I'd like to be in you shoes. Anyway, I think the Rams have made the first step toward getting their act together and will Faulk over the Seahawks (you couldn't have used them unless you took them to beat the Raiders). Packers and Favre are great s/u at home but with their banged up 'D' fooling the Bears and Patriots, I suspect the Skins offensive coaches will come up with a better attack.

Good Luck......whatever you decide!

I have given advice to someone else for there survivor pool i think it was two weeks ago but im not sure if he followed the pick i gave him. Anyways it was right I told him to take the broncos over the chargers, regardless I agree with alb I like the rams this week due to the fact that I went to highschool with bulger and I know what he can do. I have total faith in him and the rams I think is the pick of the week. Especially with seattles soft defense and Faulk talking it personal that they keep losing.

Good luck

If your looking at straight up wagers I think your on to something with Green Bay. They are tough at home , especially against a mediocre redskin team. Good Luck
