Ok, I'm down $600 today already.......but still have some teaser parley's going for me. Here they are!

7 teamer
Minn. +10.5 (won)
Miami -2.5 (won)
Jets +3 (won)
N.O. +11.5 (won)
Oak. -1 (won)
G.B. -1 (won)
Dallas -1 (pending)
100 to win 800

4 teamer
Oak. -1.5 (won)
Green Bay -1 (won)
Miami -3 (won)
Dallas -1 (pending)
100 to win 300

I'm thinking about betting against Dallas tonight to hedge it. But after thinking about it. I'm not sure. I want to bet probably $400 or $500 just to insure I win overall and cut my losses for the day. What do you guys think:shrug:  Give some input guys.
Should I just say what the hell and sweat it through?

I say don't panic and stay with what you have. I think it's the winning ticket.

I would hedge as I won't be surprised if Houston wins outright tonight.

How much should I hedge if I do decide to hedge? Should I wait for the line to increase too. It's up to +9 now.

hey my moneyline at CRIS is +340......wow! I like that. I'm thinking......my teaser line is -1 for Dallas. So if I place a $200 or $300 on the moneyline.....Man, I can win big either way....

$300 moneyline will win $1020

Parleys will win $1100:eek:

Or if I be greedy, $300 or $400 on Texans will win me all with Dallas winning by 2 to 8....hmmm:confused:

I'm leaning towards the moneyline for $300. What you guys think?

Ok guys,

I hedge with the moneyline. +340.....i placed $300 to win $1020. If Dallas wins, I win both teasers for $1200. This way I'm gauranteed to win about $900 to $1000 either way.

I'm thinking about playing under too for a little bit. What you guys think about over/under? Should I also place anything on dallas or Houston -9 or +9?

I would go buy it to + 10 and shoot for the middle and at leat cover the $$$ you have at risk

HOUSTON + 10 260/200 that is protecting the bankroll you have with the opportunity to win 840 or maybe even 1300

MY strategy regardless

shit, I chickened out. I'm just trying to cover my losses and get'em next week. I always had this problem of overbetting and end up in a deeper whole. I was very close to doing what Hoops said. let it ride and even put more on the Texans +9 for another $300 to $500. But I chickened out and covered my losses for the day. :D I would have more guts if I won during the afternoon. I'm in this for the long run and it's just week one. I don't want to empty my bankroll on these sorry shits Cowboys game. They have costed me in the past and don't want it to happen again.

The noon picks have been killer for me. The Cleveland game pissed me off so much. That shouldn't have been a penalty because he thought he sacked the QB and thought the game was over. That call was a bunch of B.S.

Thanks for all the inputs guys. You've all been very helpful. I really appreciate it. GL to everyone!;)

I'm so glad I listened to you guys and hedge. From being down about $600, I ended up $425 up for the day. :D I just wanted to thank you guys! My $300 moneyline play for +340, helped in securing a grand winning either the Boys won or the Texans won. So really it didn't matter who won to me, only that if Texans win I win a $100 bucks more. And they did win!;)

Sometimes we get lucky and sometimes we don't. I'm just glad I'm on the right side today.

Way to go UMRebel, you did the right thing. Of course that's easy to say now that Hou won the game, but it was the right move regardless of the outcome.

Now you just have to work on the bankroll management part. You admit that you have a problem chasing and betting too much. You know it's a long season. So...you KNOW all this stuff... you just have to be more disciplined like you said and not put yourself out of the game after one or two weeks.

We all have bad weeks and suffer from some very unlucky breaks like you did today in the Cleveland game. Comes with the territory, but good $$ management will keep you going despite those breaks so you're around when the fluky luck works in your favor.

Good luck this year,
GM

Thanks GM, those are very encouraging advice. I've been screwed so many times already with stupid calls and dumbass plays. Even last year's playoff game with the Raiders and Patriots. I think the refs are idiots from calling that play even after reviewing it. But I'm trying to go the long haul. I won't make the mistake and chase after my losts on one game.

Those teasers gave me a break in making me win either way. I'm so glad I asked for advice before making decisions, cause sometimes you don't really know what to do and panic. I ended up doing well for the weekend with the hedge to win $425 overall than to lose $600, it's a $1000 turnaround. :D I just hope everyone thinks about what they're doing before making one large wager on a team. There are no guarantees in sports betting. Always keep in mind there is no sure thing to gambling. They don't call it gambling for nothing.;)
