Looking for something where I can track my performance with the obvious splits,
sides vs totals, and
money line, spread, parlays, teasers, etc,
not to mention that I follow and bet on mlb, nfl, ncaa football, nhl and nhl,
not to mention the occasional shot at European hockey, soccer, and others.

I was considering trying to keep stats by hand, but that seems so 20th century,
not to mention impractical, considering my betting tendencies.

Any help would be groovy.

my several google searches were swing-and-a-miss

Not even sure what a decent, programmable database might be.
I grabbed a copy of 'Spread32'--a very simple spreadsheet--but I am totally inexperienced with spreadsheets and my patience is not a virtue.
I remember programming my own databases, in Basic, on an Apple II+ way back, circa about 1982 plus or minus. It's making my current cluelessness even more disconcertinglike.

...

crap...unless a miracle occurs, I need to learn some complicated database software, programming in my desired fields and 'programming' whatever calculations I want done.

I've heard and/or read about people using software to keep track of their bets, a few times this century, but Hendrix only knows what happened to those memories. Only thing that makes sense is that custom-designed database idea, which has to be easier than sin if one knows what they're doing.

Maybe somebody can recommend a solid database or spreadsheet program for this.
cheers
