I was visiting another site and these were the teams listed as the bottom of the barrell:
AL NL
CLEV CIN
DET COLO
KC LAD
TBAY MIL
TEX MONT
NYM
PITT

After my 2-4 performance yesterday - I've learn there's a long way to go with my limited knowledge of handicapping baseball.
Any help would be appreciated.

KC has an excellent shot at winning their division. Albeit a very weak division, but the Royals certainly aren't a bottom team.

Tampa, Cincy, Detroit are all going to be weak, but I don't think the Tigers will approach last season's futility. Tampa has the misfortune of playing 19 games each vs. Boston, NYY, Toronto and Baltimore. A tough schedule for a very young team to gain confidence with.

Texas will be very, very bad. Lost its best pitcher in Thompson and a good chunk of offense with Arod and Raffy (Gonzalez too, but he was hurt a lot). The Rangers have some decent, young bats in the lineup and got Soriano (who I suspect will be dealt near the deadline for pitching prospects), but not anything close to enough to offset the dismal pitching.

I suggest you watch a couple weeks of real games before doing much, if any, wagering. With so many games daily over April-May-June-July-August-September, there will be plenty of wagering opportunities so IMO its best to get a feel of how the teams are doing out of the gate.
