This is fking disgusting but went to my local vet he gave me this forbid stuff worked for a few days now he back to eating his own shit need help what to do using some vitamins as well but not working. :scared

Did you change her diet or do anything this is grossing me out dont even wanna go near him I cant catch him doing it because it happens so quick usually while he is outside and I only see remnants so I know he went if I could catch him doing it then I think I could correct it. HELP!! I give him vitamins and the forbid but not working
Your dog is not getting enough excercise. It's bored. Also, you should not leave your dog outside unattended. They are like kids and looking for attention but the main reason is lack of excercsie
Got a dog that eats only cat shit. No cat shit around here is missed. I think he waits until the cat squats in the litter box to know when desert is served.
We decided not to fight it and just renamed him shit eater.

Mine did the same, it means they are missing essential nutrients in their diet. What kind of food do you feed him?
This is no lie they or he or she is not getting enough minerals in their diet, it shows they have a mineral deficiency.

If that doesn't work try going boom boom on top of the steamy pile, dogs won't eat human poo. Especially after twelve budweisers and a bag of pork rinds dipped in ranch dressing.

Thanks for the help to some of you. I am feeding him pedigree wet a few scoops three times a day with a cup of eukanuba dry mixed in. After he eats I take him out and he will shit but not eat it. I clean it up and everything is fine he never eats the shit in front of me. However if I feed him or he shits when I am not home I can tell he has eaten it because there are remnants that he has shit. Also I had him at my office and put him outside on a patio and was told by another person who could see him that he had shit, eaten the shit, threw up and ate the vomit. I seriously do not know what to do I am planning on changing his diet to natural balance or eukanuba wet, leaving more food out if I go out for the evening but have left dry and know he has shit and eaten it. HELP.
Maybe he really likes the taste?
I had a lab mix that was a shit eatin dog. Nastiest thing I have ever seen. I changed his food to Iams and I have yet to see him eat anymore shit. I can't really say if it was the Iams, or the fact he ran away the same day but at least I didn't have to see it.
