Help needed, QUICK! Should I go for the middle? (BYU/HI)

Monday, using BetonSports.com, I somehow got the first half 'over' of the BYU/Hawaii game at 24.5, even though the full game over/under was at 69.5. Well, the full game over/under is still at 69.5, but the first over/under is now at 34.5. That's a 10 point difference!

So, the question is:

Do I stick with my original $100.00 bet of the over at 24.5, or should I bet an equal amount on the under at 34.5 and hope for the middle and a $200.00 payout, but risking the chance that I may end up just paying juice?

Anyone else?

I'm leaning towards not taking the under and sticking with the original bet...

The odds of them going over 24.5 & under 34.5 aren't too good imo considering the two teams we have here.

If I had the chance and that spred between the numbers...I wouldn't have to think long about it and go for the middle every time and only wished i had more on both sides. Really nothing to lose (except the vig) and a bunch to gain.
Not to be rude, but its called the edge and its called gambling.
Good Luck on whatever you do.

Well, I ended up compromising. I put $50.00 on the under (34.5), and, of course, I still have my original $100.00 on the over (24.5).

I'd middle a game for 1.5 points....if I had 10 points to middle, I'd be cursing like a drunk sailor that I didn't have 5 dimes on each side..... Grab that middle, dude! for the 10 bucks in juice you are risking, thats a nice payoff when it hits.......:)

Actually, there is no juice (Even) at BetonSports if you're taking the under on the first half. It's at -120 for the over.

Yes, in general I would say middle but then I would take a step back & look at each opportunity individually. We are dealing with 2 potent offenses here & I personally wouldn't like my chances of going over 24.5 but under 34.5, they could easily have that by the middle of the 2nd q if not the first if they strike quick. I do wish you good luck though.

Hey, I'll take the $150.00!

It was lookin' like I was going to lose $60.00.

I do wish I had gone for the full middle, though. ;)

Nice hit! I was freaking at the idea that you might miss the over 24.5 part of the wager.

Now, if they'd kindly stop scoring, I can make a nickel tonight on my under 71 wager......

Hope you find another nice middle like that one again, and pound both sides equally.......
