I really think Duke is the play this week. Miami is really not that good.....and to be giving up points on the road to a very improved Duke team isn't something I'd feel comfortable with

Duke does not have the caliber of players Miami has. Duke gets 1* recruits whie Miami gets 4 & 5* blue chip recruits year in and out.
Miami has great athletic players.

Why will they just randomly choose to be good this week? Why wouldn't they blow out a not-so-good Central Fla. team.....at home. Now you're telling me they'll just pick a week out of a hat, namely this week, to put it all together....on the road. Just me, but I ain't buying it. :nono:

AR, I agree and would not let anyone tell me what to bet.
I could have worded this post a little better.
I am going to be playing the 3 plays along with a few others. I just wanted a little "forum love" with them because I capped them on stats and gut feel alone. I was looking for some feedback and insight if anyone else had capped them or had a good feel for the teams.

I am looking at Houston as a strong or larger play for myself. I am on the fence with FSU and Miami as how much I would like to throw down so all comments will be taken into cosideration.

Central Florida usualy plays it's in state rivals close.


Not saying they have a switch and can turn it on when they feel the need. I'm just saying position for position I don't see 1 mismatch that Duke has
on the field that they can capitalize on. Miami shoud be able to control the LOS on Off. & Def.


And also have you ever seen the Stadium Duke plays in?
My kids pop warner league has a equally nice and big stadium. I think the seating capacity is like 30K
@ Wade Wallace.

IMO Duke has no advantage with Home field .

i agree w/ Miami -4.5. that team is athletic as hell. last week was a predictably bad throw-away game after a 41-39 loss to in-state rival FSU in one of the craziest games i have ever seen. i think they rebound w/ a thumping of the Devils this week.
