i am in a suicide pool with these rules:
pick one team only once (obvious), but points are accumulated each week
for example, if you had cleveland last week against cincy, you gained +18 points, you dont get knocked out if you lose a game, just negative points
so i am having problems picking my team this week
here are my choices
tampa @ cincy
min @ pitt
det @ chic
dall @ was
car @ no
i have already used philly, oak and san fran
if anyone has a suggestion let me know
i am currently 3rd in my division out of 500 teams and 36th overall out of 6000

the way i understand it is that the larger the win spread, the better for you.

from the choice you listed, i believe the best chance of a blowout is wash/dallas.

reasons:

tampa is coming off a huge, show biz style win, and i can't see how they can get up for this one. cinci at home will be desperate to get something going.

chi is facing a real warrior, despite detroit's 0- and whatever. i don't expect a big win, and potentially an upset.

n.o. is not really making that many points, have shown weaknesses here and there and can actually be surprised by carolina.

edit

i left pitt out. there is a potential here for a big win if minny starts getting silly, although from pitt's perspective, they should just play their basic game and clear around 10-13 points.

as for wash, i believe they will peck away as usual, score a couple of defense-generated scores, and get up to the 20-27 point area. i don't know if dallas can score more than a special team td and a fg, if at all. a slightly better choice in my opinion, than pitt.

pep,
that info was great
i have it down to either was, pitt or maybe tampa
i would only play was as a play against dallas. i am not sold on was yet. plus, we all know about dallas in washington over the years
tampa may not generate the biggest blowout but i feel that they are a conservative play
they may only win by 7-10 but i dont see an upset
the other games are more volitile in my opinion

I would not pick Tampa. I wouldn't even take them ML -200 if I could find it. They are coming off of an emotional Monday night win, and going into the cool weather to face a decent Bengals team.

I'd stick with Pitt. Their D will give Minnesota fits.

I go to bengals games every week and they are not even close to decent. There record does not reflect how bad they are.
Don't embarass yourself by calling them decent
