Help with betting procedure

I need some advise. I am not knew to MJ. I am finally home from a military deployment for over 15 months and could not remember my old username or password so I had to start over.

I made a bet last night on the Monday night game at 7:30 for KC -2 for 3 units. I then made another bet at 7:50 for KC -2.5 for 3 units. I made this bet because I was limited by my local guy on 3 units per bet. (He is now saying it was 3 units per game) He says that I won the first 3 units but not the second. I found this out 20 hours after I made the bet.

He said that he has never heard of a second bet based on line movment and a game is a game, not line movement.

Am I the one that is being irrational?? I have been gone for a while.

He didn't mention this until after you won? What did he say to you when you phoned in at 7:50?? If he had a problem with it, that was the time for him to speak up. He owes you 6 units, no question.

The arrangment is that I leave the play on his cell phone. I get the line off of a site that he uses. I left two messages. On Sunday night I played the Eagles -8.5 for 3 units. He called me back and said that he got the call but the reception was bad and if I wanted the bet to call before the game started to clarify the bet. I called back and left a message and when I got down in front of the TV I was down by 7 already. He said that He received a good message and I said was it after the kickoff and he said no. I honored the bet because that was my intent to play the Eagles -8.5. I did not argue with him I let him make the call, but the bottom line was I was down 3.3 units

The frustrating part is sitting through these nail bitters and not knowing.

I also think I am trying to replace adrenaline rush???

I want to be fair about this but think that I am completely right and want to hear different opinions.

These are all perfectly good reasons why I prefer an online sportsbook. The top benefits, you can't bet what you don't have (can't get in too much trouble), there is no arguing over stupid shit like you have mentioned, and the stress of paying/getting paid is eliminated. I would strongly recommend a sportsbook that does NOT charge for depositing or withdrawing and even that allows to directly transfer from your checking account. Some are nervous about it being wired to checking account, but I can vouch for Bodog that they have been great. Once they verify your account, the deposits go through instantly and when you withdraw money is back in your account within 2 days (as long as it has been 3 days since your deposit, they wait for that to clear).

Just my opinion, good luck whatever you choose and thank you for defending our country!

This is BS! I have called back a few times to get more action when the line has moved and have had no problem doing so. All locals (as i have found out with teasers) are different, but my suggestion to you would be to find someone else who does not limit you to three units. I would be irrate if this happened to me. Tell him :sadwave: and find another local IMO!

I am going back to an offshore. You recommend Bodog for all the reasons above appreciate it. Where can I find them. I had an offshore before I left. Closed it because it was not legal to gamble under our military orders.

I had a local that had a 500 limit and it was per game so he is probably correct in one bet on KC....You probably could have added another 3 units on the O/U just not the side.....offshore is really heads and shoulders above a local...you can buy hooks ect. something my local would never dream of doing....Good Luck!

My local also limits my play, but he is such an idiot and his lines can be so far off, I put up with him. He pays every time, on time, so I can't bitch too much.

Your local guy may have a legit beef with your bets...since he limits your amount per game.

All my serious bets go offshore, and I suggest you find a book offshore that you like and build a relationship....
