Hello all,

I'm getting ready to open my practice and am in need of some help regarding DVDs. In each of the rooms and treatment areas i put TVs above the chairs so the kids can watch it when getting work done. I feel pretty good about picking movies out for the younger kids up to 7 or 8 (toy story movies, up, etc)...

am looking for suggestions for the 10-12 year age range, boys and girls. Is high school musical still in for these kids? Any suggestions? Need to be PG obviously.

Any suggestions of favorites of your kids, even if younger, would be great-

Not quite done but here is where they will get cleanings. Note the TVs in the ceiling and the top one in the background will have the DVD played. The bottom ones in the back have a Wii and XBox360, kind of an "on-deck" area. I did the wiring myself, was actually pretty fun.

PS...who can name that movie that's on there?

I would think anything Harry Potter would be good. Another option would be cartoon shorts depending on how long they'll be in the chair. I'd hate to start getting into a movie and then be finished before the end. Of course, I'm such a baby I get nitrous for cleanings so I probably wouldn't really care what was playing.

I would stay with the Disney and Pixar kinda stuff ... all you need is a couple of bad/cuss words ... kid tells their parents ... you get a complaint and lose business:shrug:

and best of luck with your new practice :0074

My kids are younger (5 & 7). They like the Disney stuff. Finding Nemo, Cars, Ratatoulie, & at Christmas we watch The Polar Express a good 7 times or more.

I believe the movie being played is Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy.

Good luck with your new venture!

I have seen 4 of those. I'll probably never see the rest. If I saw the opening credits for Indian and the Cupboard, I'd be searching hard and fast for the remote. That sounds like complete garbage.
